How to submit an abstract
To submit an abstract register here for the abstract portal.
This portal will allow you to submit a scientific abstract, download poster templates and formatting guidelines and submit completed posters.
We welcome abstracts related to any aspect of breast cancer research.
Preparing your abstract
We recommend that abstracts should have the following sections: background, methods, results and discussion/conclusions. If appropriate the discussion/conclusions section can be formatted in bullet points.
Abstracts should contain a title, list of authors with affiliations and a note of any financial relationship(s) with commercial interests which need to be disclosed for each authors.
The word limit (main text body - not including titles, authors, affiliations or tables is 600 words. The inclusion of one table is permitted. Figures or images are not permitted.
Abstracts should be written in Arial font size 12.
There is no limit to the number of abstracts an author can submit.
There is no limit to the number of authors.
We will also consider relevant abstracts which have been presented or accepted for presentation at SABCS 2020.
Presenting your poster
Within the virtual conference centre, a dedicated poster hall has been created where delegates can view, enlarge and interact with the scientific posters. Each poster is linked to the conference chat/contact feature of the presenting delegate so viewers will be able to ask questions via text chat or arrange to discuss the work in the networking area. Audio/visual presentation of posters will not be possible at EBCSS 2021.
Two best poster prizes will be awarded at the conference by an expert panel of judges.
If you are a student, scientist-in-training or physician-in-training you can elect to be considered for an EBCSS 2021 Scholar-in-training award which comes with complimentary registration and certificate. You may be asked to provide a CV and confirmation of your training status.
